To assure that the patio cover is rain tight, the owner of this single-story home decided to install the posts through the eves. There were also solar panels in the way. When you cannot have posts on the outside, a cantilever port is a good option. The customer decided for an MLR port because it can reverse its roof slant for better protection from the sun.
