This aluminum profile patio cover from Japan is lightweight. One of the reasons you can install it under the eve or on top of a roof. Because we had enough height, we were able to install underneath by attaching the cover to the rafters, ensuring a rain tide connection to cover not only the patio space but also the entry stairs and door.
